Labor Day Goal

Time is flying by at a rapid pace.

As we delve into yet another Labor Day weekend, I find myself simply stunned by how many books there are in my TBR pile. I have always prided myself in not allowing this pile to mound up. I am a writer, but I am also an avid reader. So, where did all of these books come from?

I sat in the middle of my living room floor last night sorting through this pile. My goal? To figure out how and when I got so far behind.

Believe it or not, it isn't even really because of Nationals. I just honestly haven't read that much of what I have bought. So my goal for Labor Day is to read. I'm going to sit back, open a wonderful book and let my muse have a day off by enjoying the hard and talented work of other creative souls.

May you find the bottom of your own TBR pile soon:)

Happy Labor Day
